Mani/ Pedi... or counseling session?

So, I am all about coupons.  I bought a deal the other day for a mani/ pedi for an amazing price and I have been really looking forward to using it.  I went yesterday for my appointment, and needless to say it was QUITE interesting.

I walk in and there is only one technician lady who has a little station set up in the back of a chiropractor's office.  There was NO whirlpool and NO massaging chair.  Fail.  She told me that the whirlpools are just a "pool of germs" and she does not use them.  Then she told me, "First, I am going to do an analysis of your feet and then I will go ahead with the pedicure."  My first thought is "Lady, I don't care for any analysis of my feet.  I just came her for a relaxing pedicure."  Then she looked at my toes and said:  "Oh my, did you have something traumatic happen in your life 6 - 9 months ago?"  Ok, this is just getting weird.  I said:  "Actually, yes.  Both 6 and 9 months ago."    She told me:  "Yes, your feet are the window to your soul."  Awkward.  She then proceeded to ask me my whole life story and tell me that I have a calcium  and vitamin B deficiency due to the stress I went through 6 - 9 months ago.  She told me I need to be on dietary supplements, etc...  Then, she decided to give me advice on my life issues that I really didn't care to hear.  Again, I go back to my same point.  I came here for a relaxing pedicure, not for a counseling session!  Who is this lady??

All that to say, I was there for 2 hours spilling my guts to this random lady.  It was not relaxing per say, and was the weirdest mani/ pedi I have had in my whole life.  But my nails & toenails look pretty, if that counts for anything?!  Hey, at least I got a good deal, right ? =)
