Well... here is my first real blog post! These last few months have been crazy and we have definitely seen some major change in our lives. As I was driving home today, the song "Blessings" by Laura Story came on and I started thinking about what has transpired in our lives over the last few months. There have definitely been trials, and times when I wondered how everything would turn out. But looking back, I see God's hand in it all and am incredibly grateful for the place that He has brought us to now. The line from the song "What if the trials in this life are only blessings in disguise" has really held true for us. The last few months haven't been easy, but I wouldn't trade them. God has shown Himself to be faithful, and He has used this time to draw us closer to Himself and to each other. I am thankful for our friends, our church family, and our families who have really been wonderful. I am thankful for God's blessings, and for what He has in store for our future. And if you haven't heard the song "Blessings" by Laura Story, you should definitely listen to in when you get the chance!
